Summer is a quintessential time of year to visit a family resort in Muskoka. Our lakeside family lodge on Peninsula Lake has been A Muskoka Tradition for many since 1927.  Spend your entire vacation relaxing or enjoying the many activities offered right here onsite, or take a short jaunt to nearby Algonquin Park for wolf howling or moose sighting,  or the Town of Huntsville and village of Dwight for shopping and dining; the choice is yours.

All rates are Per Person and include Breakfast Buffet and Afternoon Snack daily. 

Please note that during Summer (all July and August), stays are 3, 4 or 7 nights in length and either begin or end (or both) on a Saturday.  There is a 3 night minimum stay during this time.

SUMMER SEASON: July 4th to Sept 3rd, 2026

Springtime in Muskoka is very special. Fauna and Flora begin to flourish and show signs of growth while the warmer weather allows for enjoyment of many indoor and outdoor activities.  Spring is the best season to see moose in nearby Algonquin Park!

All rates are Per Person and include Buffet Breakfast and Afternoon Snack daily.  If you would like to be exploring offsite for the day, ask for a packed snack.

Fall is a wonderful time of year to visit Muskoka.  You can experience everything Fall has to offer right here onsite with extraordinary fall colours reflecting onto Peninsula Lake, and floating above your head softly dropping at your feet along our own hiking trails.  Our lakeside cottages with wood-burning stone fireplaces are perfect to relax and unwind during your Fall getaway.  We are a short drive to Algonquin Park for world famous Fall colours along the Highway 60 corridor.

All rates are Per Person and include Breakfast Buffet and Afternoon Snack daily.  If you are away exploring offsite for the day, please feel free to ask for a packed snack.

Winter is a wonderful time of year to visit Muskoka.  There are so many fun outdoor activities to be experienced, and there is nothing better than relaxing beside the snap crackle of the real fire in your wood-burning stone fireplace.

All rates are Per Person.  Check In is any time after 4 pm, and Check Out is by 12:30 pm.

All stays include our onsite weather permitting winter activities going during your stay, such as snowshoeing, skating on the lake, tobogganing, cross-country skiing.

Two-night minimum stay.  Christmas/New Years Holiday weeks and Family Day Weekend are 3-night minimum stay.

Policy

RESERVATIONS

Reservations are made by telephone, by email or in person, and must be confirmed by credit card.   Mastercard, VISA, Interac, and American Express are accepted. At time of making a reservation a $200 per person deposit is required.  No deposit is required for children under age 4.  We do not have an online reservation system.

DEPOSIT POLICY

Your deposit is applied to the full reservation.  When requesting reservations, please pay careful attention to arrival and departure dates.  Cancellation, late arrival or early departure causes forfeiture of deposit unless cancellation or changes are made 21 days in advance of your scheduled arrival date.

CANCELLATION

In the event of cancellation of a booking with 21 days notice, the deposit will be refunded less a $20.00 administration fee.  Deposits are non-refundable if made or cancelled less than 21 days from arrival.

CHECK-IN

Check-In time is any time AFTER 4:00 p.m.  Guests arriving earlier (for example, 2-4pm) are welcome to use the resort facilities.  We will get you into your cottage as soon as we can, but we can’t guarantee accommodation will be ready before 4:00 p.m.

CHECK-OUT

SPRING, FALL & WINTER: Check-Out (of your cottage) is by 12:30 pm.  
SUMMER:  Weekly stays Check-Out is by 11:00 a.m.    3 & 4 night Mini-Vacation stays Check-Out is by 12:30pm.

CHILDREN’S RATES

Under age 4 free | 4-7 years 1/2 adult rate | 8-12 years 3/4 adult rate.
NOTE: Children’s rates may be combined to adult rate to meet minimum occupancy. Single rate (when available) is 1.5 x daily per person rate.

MEALS

Included in all rates is Breakfast Buffet and Afternoon Snack daily, served in our dining room. No allowance for missed meals.
